FrontAccouting - business accounting system
This course comprises 11 audio-video spoken tutorials, using which you can self-learn FrontAccounting - business accounting system with ease.
STEP 1-
First of all install FrontAccounting software by following the steps given in this sheet.
- This sheet gives the steps to install the FrontAccounting software on Linux and Windows OS.
- Open the sheet, read the instructions for your OS and install the compilers on your machine.
- Cross-verify (as mentioned in the sheet) to confirm successful installation.

Introduction to FrontAccounting
FrontAccounting (FA) is a free and open source accounting software. FA is a multi-locational, multi-user, multi-lingual, multi-currency web-based accounting system for the entire Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) chain written in PHP, using MySQL.
FrontAccounting is developed by an international team. Senior developer Joe Hunt (@joe) lives in Sweden and Janusz Dobrowolski (@itronics) is in Poland, while other developers come from USA, Canada, Egypt, Dubai, India, Australia, and elsewhere. Dr. Ap.Muthu lives in India and Singapore and joined the project in 2009 and maintains the OpenVZ port of the bleeding edge FrontAccounting Template besides contributing to the Wiki and the forums extensively.

Important note to System Administrators:
1. Please ensure that you have the done the XAMPP and FrontAccounting installation successfully before the learners begin to learn from this tutorial series.
2. You may get some port error message while starting the XAMPP services. To change these ports, refer to the Additional Reading Material of the Installation tutorial.
3. Follow each step as shown in the Installation tutorial to do a successful installation.
